Old Age as an Asset
Parker is a world-renowned writer, speaker and activist who focuses on issues in education, community, leadership, spirituality and social change. He has reached millions worldwide as founder and senior partner of the Center for Courage & Renewal and through his many books, articles, speeches, podcasts and videos.
Parker said to us recently that, rightly understood, “aging as an asset” has a lot to do with community development. We will take about fifteen minutes to talk about what he means by that and then transition into how all of our experiences in working with citizens to build asset-based communities can be translated into your own work.
After our opening remarks we’ll open the conversation up for your questions and insights.
