INVITATION TO ABCD–E LEARNING WORKSHOPS

There has been expressed interest in how ABCD can be applied within specific contexts and we have decided to run a series of short online seminars to build on the basic course and address specific topics. Thanks to the generosity of Ikhala Trust’s funders, we are able to offer the seminars free of charge:

Seminar # 1 – ABCD and Community led Value Chain

The workshop will start by comparing the linear and circular economy and brainstorming ways of boosting the local economy building on the asset base. Drawing on the work of the Coady Institute, we will apply a method of community led value chain, using the Leaky Bucket as a tool. We will conclude the seminar with a case study. The seminar is particularly relevant for organisations supporting livelihood programmes or working in the field of local economic development.

Date: 31 May 2022 Time: 9h00 12h30

Please note: These are South African times – please check for the times in your country.
