Impetuous and sometimes uncontrollable progress in all spheres of science, the growth of population around the world, ecological problems, wars, and many other crises modern humanity faces nowadays raises a question about whether Earth will remain capable of being home for us as a species in the nearest future. There are measures taken to soften, slow down, or even negate the effects human civilization causes to our planet, but some of the problems seem to be unsolvable.

One of them is unemployment. People can discover new energy sources, learn how to grow food from nothing, or invent thousands of new appliances to improve the efficiency of everything. Just ask yourself are you part of this or are you an object that has been put in a world that someone else named. An object that is waiting to be lifted up, carried from point A to point B or just tossed around. Because this is exactly what happens when one fails to take charge of their life. Not looking inside you in what you can do for the world but trying to look outside what the world can do for you. If you can’t rename your own world, who do you think is going to do for you? i bet no one. The moment you let someone rename your world, you become part of theirs, this means you have signed an agreement with the person. to be an object for them. This means you have agreed to be used like any other object around.

As freire puts it in the pedagogy of the oppressed………”a free action can only be one by which a man changes his world and himself…….A positive condition of freedom is the knowledge of the limits of necessity, the awareness of human creative possibilities……The struggle for a free society in not a struggle for free society unless through it an ever greater degree of individual freedom is created.

For the few days I have interacted with the concept of ABCD.I have come to realize just how easy it is for anyone to rename their world. This kind of educational experience has brought me to a new awareness of self and the world I live in. A new sense has just cropped into my life. A sense of transforming my world and hence transforming what happens around me.

 The moment your look inside yourself in terms of what you have, you open up possibilities for creating a connection with the world around you and the world responds to your wishes. Positive energy will always attract positiveness around you and all you see around are things to help you achiever your goals and dreams.

ABCD is such a nice place to begin in search of yourself,a good place to start for those who want to change their world, rename it and repossess it for themselves.A good place for men and women who believe that the world can be a better place for every humanity. Start with what you have, build with what you know.
