Hello all,

I am a global health professional at Emory University it Atlanta, GA. I am working with an 501c3 organization in Eleuthera, Bahamas to help assess if there is need on the island for a home care nursing system. However, in doing this, it is also crucial to survey what other resources/capacities the community has to offer by way of social services and informal supports. Does anyone have pointers on where to start with a framework for doing so?

Hi Amy- are you asking if asset mapping or another approach would be appropriate? I would think that it would be a way to engage citizens on what is already available as well as the gifts of individuals. There are numerous resources on how to asset map on this site but I would be happy to send you some as part of a project I am working on- allison@lourash.com.
