Numerous community projects were hi-lighted in the ABCD workshop process and groups or individuals developing these opportunities, either as a business or projects (group of people). Here is three of these projects:
2. ECD Center (Early Childhood Development Project), using BrainBoosters. The mines will pay for the building of the Day Care Centre's infra-structure, but the ownership, staff and management are some of the people who attended the ABCD leadership development workshop in Sunrise Park, those who are passionate about children and their future.
3. Brickmaking Co-operative, already registered. This group in Ikemeleng, Rustenburg are currently negotiating for land (with government, land owners and the mines) for the brick-making. The mines have awarded a small amount of money to kick start the Ikemeleng project, should they be able to proof that they can work together.
