Here's how to change your password:

Blogs are great places to post your ideas, stories, or ideas you've been thinking about. To post a blog:

1. Log in to the site & go to your profile page by clicking on your name in the menu
2. Once on your own profile page, click on BLOG under your name and then the + sign. This will open a blog form for you to fill out. 
3. Fill in the form. You can copy and paste from something else you've written or write directly on the form.
4. Be sure to choose a category for your blog and a date that you would like it published. 
5. You can add an image to your blog by clicking on BLOG LIST IMAGE and choosing something from your files. (optional)
6. Click on CREATE NEW BLOG at the bottom of the template.

After you create your blog, a site administrator will review and post your blog. They will contact you if they have any questions. 

Post an event on ABCD in Action and it will automatically be added to the Events page. If it is posted early enough, we will also include it in our monthly newsletter.

To post an event:

1. Log in to the site & go to your profile page by clicking on your name in the menu
2. Click on the Events box and then the + sign.
3. Fill in the template with the event info
4. Click on Create Event.

Tip: If your event is held more than one day (example: It starts on Oct. 25 and ends on Oct. 26), put those dates at the start of your event description.

Tip: include a link to your website with more information and/or to register.

Here's how to post in the forum:

1. Go to the Community Forum in the main menu.
2. Find a category you're interested in and click on it. 
3. Once you find a category, you can either respond to a current conversation or you can start your own new conversation.  
4. To start a new conversation in that category, click on the plus sign to the right of the category's name. See the example below in the screenshot.  
5. A template will open. You can give your post a title (a Question is always good!) and then type your question or requests in the text box. Be sure to click on "Post New Discussion" to save your post.
6. To respond to a current conversation, click on it within the category you've opened. When it opens, read through the conversation and scroll down to the bottom where you can add your ideas. Be sure to click on "Post Response" after you've typed in the box.

An alternative way to check out the latest posts is to go to the Community Forum page and click on "Newest Posts". This is a great way to see what the most recent posts have been. 

There's a lot going on and many opportunities for you to get connected. Most of your posts can be done directly through your own personal profile. Here's how to post photos or videos, announce an event, or share your thoughts in a blog:

1. Log into the site and then click on your own name.
2. Use the menu right below your name to post - click on the type of item you want to post
3. In most cases, you'll click on the + to open a template.
4. Follow the directions for the template.  
5. Click on the CREATE button at the bottom

Experiment! You can't break anything here (and if something gets a little messed up, just email us at ABCDinAction@gmail.com to get it fixed).  

One exception: You might want to join or start a conversation. All conversations take place in our Forum. Click on a post to read and respond to it.

Or click on the + sign in any of the forum categories to add a new question or start a new conversation. Again we encourage you to try posting. It's a great way to make a new connection!
