Across the nation, many organizations and institutions are learning how to support the ability of local residents to solve problems and create new community building initiatives. Led by John McKnight, Founder and Co-Director of the ABCD Institute, attendees of this workshop will learn about new methods and how to strengthen the ability of neighbors to become producers rather than consumers or clients. At the same time, these methods strengthen and broaden the capacity of local organizations and institutions to serve the neighborhood.
