I work for a charity in Gloucestershire, working alongside Community Builders in helping people to imagine and build more welcoming and inclusive communities. My background includes working as a district councillor, social worker, trainer, service manager, lead on inclusion for the Learning Disability Partnership Board and helping establish a CIC run by adults with a learning disability. I also have experience of chronic illness and being unable to work for seven years, plus many years of fun initiating and supporting many community projects such as Stroud Community TV, Potato Day, video-making, allotments and Transition Stroud.
