Greetings! I'm a connector... I love to help people connect to each other, to share their ideas and to get involved in in their communities. I'm also a Faculty member of the ABCD Institute and a co-founder of ABCD in Action.
My name is Philip Zeon. I live in Minneapolis, but I'm from Liberia. I love the principles of ABCD and I want to use them to help my home community overcome a major problem.
During the rain season, that community (more than 26,000 people) is completely cut off from the rest of the country due to the bad condition of its roads, especially the only major one, which is 133 miles long. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of us from that community, who are living in the USA.
I am struggling to find a way to convince my compatriots so that we can recondition this major road without endlessly waiting for a miracle. Please connect me with individuals to help with ideas and methods of mobilizing people to achieve a purpose.
I noticed that you had posted this question already in the Community Forum and didn't get a response. I will try to highlight your question in our next newsletter and see if we can get some people to give you some ideas, share some stories or resources, etc. The newsletter will go out in the middle of October.
