ABCD And Policy

Dear ABCD Practitioners,

Welcome to 2022 and it's exciting to learn and share with you in the past years.

I am curious and want to learn about Policy, this year and I was wondering if any of you have worked in the around policy (specifically young and educational policies).

It will be great if you have also used ABCD and other community-based, citizen-drive initiatives to drive policy (problem identification, agenda-setting, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation).

Thank you for sharing the ideas and questions @john-hamerlinck. I should use try out Photovoice with different groups in a community and see what can emerge from it.

I read your story map mirror @ivis-garcia-zambrana and I totally enjoyed it.

How long did it take to do this with your team and what were some learnings you identified doing this?

What other action(s) were you able to (or propose to) use the artifacts to drive or influence?

How to set up an initial group to carry out the mapping etc?

Ikhala Trust created a beautiful tool to measure about 6 areas of development for a community. If I can get a hold of it, I will share it here.

By the way, has anyone used the MEAL (measurement, evaluation, accountability and learning) approach to track ABCD development in a place?
