Hi Billy,
Now that 8 years have passed us by, curious to know if you used the ABCD approach to new church development? Would like your insights. Thank you, Tracey

Hi Kimberleigh,
I see this is 8 years past since this question on ABCD and churches. I am interested to know if you have practiced ABCD with your church community and neighborhood? I would like your revelations and lessons learned. Thank you,
Tracey

Does anyone know of any churches doing ABCD in their neighborhoods instead of traditional charity/service-style community ministries? I am a Presbyterian pastor wanting to learn how to shift a church's traditional mission ministry (soup kitchen, Thanksgiving food boxes, Christmas Angel Tree, etc.) to ABCD-style partnerships with local neighborhood residents and groups. I understand the concepts of ABCD and have seen the workbook material, but I'd love to talk to other pastors who have actually gone through this transformation with their churches. I have read about Broadway UMC in Indianapolis. Are there any other churches out there who are really active in this way? Thanks for your help!

Cynthia, Of course, I know Aiken, SC. Even though I have not been there. I think I need to make a road trip to pick your brain. Do you ever come up this way to Greenville? Would love to get together. You have a wealth of knowledge in 20 years with ABCD, I am sure of that.
Tracey
Cynthia, Thank you for responding to my post on getting connected to someone in Greenville, SC. I look forward to connecting with Yvonne.

I live in Greenville, SC and in the infant stages of starting The Roving Listener Program that was created by DeAmon Harges with The Learning Tree in Indianapolis. Do you have advice about how to begin in the days of the Covid? Thank you.
