The Asset-Based Community Development Institute (ABCD) is at the center of a large and growing movement that considers local assets as the primary building blocks of sustainable community development. Building on the skills of local residents, the power of local associations, and the supportive functions of local institutions, asset-based community development draws upon existing community strengths to build stronger, more sustainable communities for the future.

The ABCD Institute at DePaul University is pleased to present a series of conversations expanding on principles and applications of Asset-Based Community Development in the community in this level 2 workshop. We will engage in conversations about the many challenges we are facing today and the power of connection. This training is across 5 weeks that will include 16 hours of class time and a week for a self-paced participant project, beginning Aug 30, 4 pm CDT, in US and Aug 31, 7 am AEST, in Australia.
