yes, the IAP2 resources are a good place to start. their participation continuum is a good tool to use for exploring/discussing what are the kinds of community participation and where are they best used. another tool I ran across recently is done by Bang the Table, and called the engagement continuum: http://bangthetable.com/2012/02/17/the-engagement-continuum
