Thanks for sharing this article. I'd love to learn more about how you prepared the students before they went into their host countries. I have a 4 semester course that helps human service professionals embrace participatory action research/ABCD. I'm finding that it typically takes a year of work and reflection before our students internalize the concept of "doing with" and not "doing for".
