Tips, Tools, Strategies, and Technology
Hi everyone!
I'm pleased to let you know that our two new papers based on research with First Nations in Quebec and Ontario are now available. Both papers will be presented tomorrow at the International Rural Network conference in Australia - the organizers allowed us to use online communication tools to make these presentations when we were unable to travel at the last minute. The links to both papers are below and on our VideoCom project page: http://videocom.firstnation.ca
The first paper, a collaboration with Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation and our research partner the First Nations Education Council, looks at how the KZA community is using broadband networks to support the delivery of community services:
We will put the link on our website of the live videoconference presentation of this paper as soon as it is available.
The second paper, a collaboration with our research partner Keewaytinook Okimakanak, is based on a study conducted in the Sioux Lookout zone of Ontario:
We presented this second paper by pre-recorded video. Here's a link to the video presentation: http://youtube.com/fninnovation
Best wishes from Fredericton,
Susan
