There's a lot going on and many opportunities for you to get connected. Most of your posts can be done directly through your own personal profile. Here's how to post photos or videos, announce an event, or share your thoughts in a blog:
Log into the site and then click on your own name.
Use the menu right below your name to post - click on the type of item you want to post
In most cases, you'll click on the + to open a template.
Follow the directions for the template.
Click on the CREATE button at the bottom
Experiment! You can't break anything here (and if something gets a little messed up, just email us at ABCDinAction@gmail.com to get it fixed).
One exception: You might want to join or start a conversation. All conversations take place in our Forum. Click on a post to read and respond to it.
Or click on the + sign in any of the forum categories to add a new question or start a new conversation. Again we encourage you to try posting. It's a great way to make a new connection!
Find a category you're interested in and click on it.
Once you find a category, you can either respond to a current conversation or you can start your own new conversation.
To start a new conversation in that category, click on the plus sign to the right of the category's name. See the example below in the screenshot.
A template will open. You can give your post a title (a Question is always good!) and then type your question or requests in the text box. Be sure to click on "Post New Discussion" to save your post.
To respond to a current conversation, click on it within the category you've opened. When it opens, read through the conversation and scroll down to the bottom where you can add your ideas. Be sure to click on "Post Response" after you've typed in the box.
An alternative way to check out the latest posts is to go to the Community Forum page and click on "Newest Posts". This is a great way to see what the most recent posts have been.
