Great topic! I'm part of a team who is about to undertake some foundational, culture change work in a large government department in Australia - parks and rec will certainly be part of it eventually!

There was a group in Australia (where I live) called Red Thread Stories who were doing some awesome community work years ago although, I don't think they were particularly ABCD focused... Thanks Mac, I really like that wording! At a practical level, this is what I teach/do and I have used the word "targeted" in the past & "whole of community" for a larger view but to differentiate by using the words target and visionary is well, visionary! Haha!

One of our best ABCD resources in Australia, even though it is quite old now, would have to be "Making Headway" - there are things I would change over the past decade but, it still stands pretty strong!

What a great thread! Sorry I didn't see it sooner!

I've been an ABCD practitioner for 20 years (argh, I'm old!) and more recently, as an Intentional Nomad, I've been living the principles of ABCD in an everyday way for 2 years now. This comes with a lot of reflection on how to stay tapped into my networks, create a sense of belonging wherever I am in the world and to be kind to myself!

Your paper was an affirming read, as were the comments from other members!
